Isn’t it so freeing to just let it all hang out? Although I do agree – the nude I mean here is nail color.
I have very long fingers and toes that make me a little self conscious sometimes. I would never shy away from a bright hue on my toes (like This One or This One) – but I often like more muted, soft colors on my fingers. To me, short simple nails are classic and go with every occasion. I have always gravitated towards pale pinks like Ballet Slippers or Bubble Bath – but lately I am feeling the more nude shades. These nude colors have more of a white/cream/brown undertone and just look really chic!
Here are some of my current favorites!
OPI; Don’t Burst My Bubble -This one has the most white undertone of the bunch and would probably look really nice with tan skin. Something I lack so much right now, #seethrough!
Essie; Sugar Daddy – This is a classic. Although it looks pink-ish in the bottle it is super sheer with a more neutral undertone when it is applied. For a fresh, clean look you can’t go wrong with this one.
OPI; Glints of Glinda – This one is from the OPI OZ Collection, just like Don’t Burst my Bubble. It is a great sheer nude with brown undertones. This could be my new go-to!
Zoya; Taylor – This may be my favorite right now. It is not sheer like the first three and I agree with the Zoya.com product description, “a light toffee cream” color.
Dior; Grege – This is definitely the most brown in tone and is also the fist Dior nail polish I have ever tried. The brush is a unique rounded shape, making application easy and mess free!
I hope you like these and take a stab at the nude nail look.
I think I may go with the Zoya polish for the upcoming holiday weekend!
I am also loving nude lips – check out this beauty.
